I charge my clients $100 to $250 per hour for my time. If you instead want me to pay you (with my time and images, or cash) - you need to "bring to the table" something that is worthy of my time. I don't give away my work, but I am willing to trade my professional time and services to create the types of images you want in exchange for your time "working for me" -- posing for my project ideas and following my instructions (in the same way you would if you were hired for a major client shoot).
Because my time is limited, I only want to hire models who LOVE my photography and who would be ENTHUSIASTIC about the chance to work for me. My clients are already paying me to take conservative headshots and fashion images -- so I don't need any more samples of those types of shots. When models are working on my projects -- they need to be willing to pose for images that are much more wild, weird, funny, and revealing than what I'm normally getting paid to shoot. Models who indicate they are available to pose for all of my projects will be much more likely to be selected.

I am very selective about the models I'm willing to hire for my projects, and models need to be serious and professional about showing up for any appointments they scheduled (if an appointment must be cancelled, at least 72-hours notice is required).

Realize that I spend more time after the shoot working on your images than I spend at the shoot. Each retouched images takes me 25 to 40 minutes to complete (so each image you receive is worth an additional $40 of my time).

Modeling Opportunities

Fashion, Glamour, and Art Shoots

Photo shoots normally run 2 to 4 hours of camera time (additional time for make-up not compensated), although shoots can be shorter if needed.
Shoots are completed weeknights (typically 7PM to midnight) and weekends (as available).

The amount of compensation (cash, images, or both) you would earn depends on the projects you decide to wrok, your age, your appearance, and your enthusiasm during the shoot.
For most projects - the makeup and hair is done for you and the outfits are provided.

Models CHOOSE which projects they are willing to work, and then a decision is made whether or not a model will be booked. Models who have no restrictions are much likelier to be hired.

Most models work 2 to 4 different projects at each shoot, including ending the shoot with the "Model's Choice" to get updated headshots and images in business or more conservative outfits.
This allows models to get the types of images they desire most after posing for my project needs.
Models working multiple projects will receive cash compensation based upon the amount of time spent in each project.

Projects, Descriptions, and Compensation Options

Model's Choice - model chooses own outfits and styling of the outfits. Essentially this project allows models to "control" what they are wearing and how they are posing. Locations-
Additional Compensation Opportunity
- If a model will provide their home, business, or property as a site for a group photo shoot, they will earn additional retouched images from their photo shoot.

Locations should have interesting architecture, furniture, or outdoor settings and provide visually interesting elements for a photo shoot. Locations do not need to be very large - a single room with interesting furniture or architecture could suffice. The model must own or control the property (you cannot volunteer a business site at which you work / you would need to get permission from the owner). Any indoor locations will have to have adequate A/C power (for use of studio lighting equipment). Outdoor locations must be on private property (again with the permission of the land-owner).

Compensation
$15 cash + $5 for each additional model using the site.

Models choosing the CASH ONLY option may not use or repost any images from the shoot without prior express written permission from studio.

GUESTS
If you desire, you may bring a safety-guest who is the same gender as you, over the age of 18, and who is able to sit silently in a corner during your photo shoot.

ARE YOU SERIOUS ABOUT MODELING?
If you are serious about modeling, then you ought to be willing to do ANY image found in magazines sold at WAL-MART (or pick your major grocery chain or department store).
The purpose in hiring a model is to have someone who can fulfill the client's / photographer's vision and it is NOT about what the model likes or doesn't like. If you want it to be about your vision, then hire a capable photographer who can fulfill that vision.
If you are marketing yourself as a model, then you need to expect to see your images used publicly online. If you're worried about who might see your pictures online -- then it is time to get out of modeling business. The reason for hiring a model (and having them sign a modeling release) is to be able to show and use the images from the photo shoot.
